i'm with BMI

fucking <3 your vox man... never heard you "sing" before though... it was ok but i prefer your flat out growl... it's got a real Max Cav sound about it.

fucking epic song... good job!

ps. keep spamming man... i'm too lazy to check the AP all the time at the moment :D

Schleif responds:

thanks for checking man! yeah, it's the first time i tried "singing" haha. guess it turned out pretty decent, though i prefer my ordinary style as well. thanks again, my friend \m/

getting there

both schlief and dk84 have left some very good feedback... dunno if i need to add much.

yeah, the mic thing... i use a "large diaphragm condenser mic" they're really sensitive... i mean, i stand about an arm's length from the mic and am still sometimes too close. Using one of those really gets the true sound of your voice into the mix... look into it, they're not cheap and you generally need "phantom power" to run them.

like schlief said... there's glimpses of your "real" metal voice coming through... but often falls away to a sort of whisper. It will come in time... practise and a bit of pain. It's all good!

keep it up bro

netty-swobb responds:

He, i would buy a new mic, buuuut, i just bought a £1700 drum kit so i'm not in very god shape to buy one, :P. My rock band mic will have to do for now :P.

Thanks \m/!

promising start

Awesome track to pick, to add vox to... shadrock is a mean mo-fo and makes killer tracks.

Your vox are still developing but this was a good start. Just wanting to make bad-ass metal is enough for me. The main thing with the metal voice is to practise it whenever you can... i used to live on a farm and would just walk around doing it coz no-one was listening. It's the hardest thing, to find a good place to practise it every day.

Keep it up man!

netty-swobb responds:

Thanks, yh shadrock is a beast :D!

Practicing, i do that in my computer room while alienating my parents, it's fun!
:P thanks dude!

hahahahaha

this is one of the funniest things to hit the AP metal section in ages.

i'm speechless XD

Schleif responds:

haha, glad to hear that, man! thanks for checking \m/

it's cool!

slow, gritty... very headbang-worthy!

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

Awesome!
Thanks for the review!

hey

this song kicks arse.

great guitar tone... and mixed pretty well. I didn't hear the old version so I can't say whether it's better or not, but this is great!

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

Trust me, it's much better.
Thanks for the review!

heavy as fuck!

i was rockin'

hell

that was pretty fucking cool.

the main riff got a little repetitive, but that's ok because it's got the structure in place for vocals in those parts, i think, and with vox the whole thing would be even more great!

drum skills are great. the recording of the drums is a little lo-fi but i salute you for including "real drums" on the AP... most people use a sequencer. still sounded good to me!

shit man, some of those riffs were blistering... you guys rock!

:O ooooohh yeahhh!

this was seriously an epic track. Sound like you had a lot of fun making it too, which is awesome!

mega-skills... i love it!

just when i thought it couldn't get any better, you ramped it up a gear around 3.20 and smashed me in the ears.

fucking evil, gritty and hellish

my guess is, you won't get many fans here for this kind of depravity.

But for what it's worth, i fived it.

lyrics?

Nattensorg responds:

Depravity? I wanted it to sound this way.

diSEMBOWELMENT worship to the MAX, n***a.

Music is the new religion. Amen.
