it goes through several emotions/phases... it was quite interesting. Not sure if it fits into the rock genre but the genres in the NG AP are pretty generic (haha) anyhow.
i actually liked the intro part the best and wanted more of that... i guess i was diggin' the gritty industrial feel to that section.
check out my latest if you get the chance :)

i liked the clean parts with the string plucking a lot more than the sections with distortion... the guitar seemed to drop off the radar in those sections.
yeah, the solo was pretty cool. Well done.

this is perfect for what it is intended to be used for... great speed and variety. Like someone else said below... this could easily be stretched into a much longer song as it has plenty of riffs that could be repeated a few more times. Good job!
check out my latest submission if you get the chance :/
Author's Response:
thanks. this is the second time i have made a loop and gotten requests for a longer song. and by the way, for anyone reading this, this guys latest submission is pretty kickass.
to anyone reading this, dont go see the flashes this is used in. its a pathetic n00bile prank, just a really long preloader with no end.

it could almost be a tune used on the intro screen of a computer game... especially if sped up a few more bpm...
lots of time and effort into this one... and it paid off... good job!
check out my latest if you have a chance :/

"is it immoral to 10 your own song?"
it probably is, but I have no morals anyway...
hey, thanks again for letting me be a part of this... every instrument turned out super-evil. There was still a compressor-limiter thing happening when I listened, though (as mentioned below in other reviews)... mixing can be very frustrating hey?
yeah, i had never heard the original before i joined this project but we collectively blew the crap out of it. this is evil! you are evil. any future projects you had in mind... i'm 100% available!
long live the metal.
Author's Response:
Thanks for your review. Immoral? Maybe. Doesn't matter to me however :P
Yeah, there's still overcompressing happening. I could fix it but really, I can't be arsed to do that since the file is a big one and I'd have to undo some things in order to get things straight.
Yeah, I will be definitely contacting you in the near future again for some more vocal work. You fucking rock, man.

"so fat my arteries hardened. or was it my cock? :0"
when that bass kicked in at 1.32... faaaaatatatatatatatatat (that's fat being shot out of a AK-47)... it was equally fat-fling-icious in several places, actually...
I agree with what CWN said below, plus I said it in your other latest song... sorry for repeating myself (aark... polly wants a crackpipe)
maddddd drums in there... mad everything.

...huge, even. Very fat. The ambient section in the middle was nicely done and worth the extra effort, good shit :D
I know you love to compress your tracks and your waveforms always look very similar (I peeked) to commercially produced tracks BUUuuut.... sometimes your tracks suffer from "the bends" (compression sickness) where the whole song goes quiet directly following a loud sound due to the whole-track compression.
That's my take on it... but I'm a novice at this game... if possible try compressing the drum tracks a fair bit before you mix it in with the other tracks, and then compress that some more. You may already be doing this... if so I take it all back.
Love your shit man... keep letting me know... I love listening to them and now I got broadband... fuck yeah!

i don't understand how this could go through the frontpage and only get 4 listens... weird...
1 vote, 4 listens and 0/5... that's not really fair :(
For what it's worth, i liked it! there was a slight tempo issue, i thought, but not too drastic. I liked the "trippy" elements to it: how the instruments bounced around L-R panning & the fx on your vox.
Author's Response:
Ehhh thank you ^_^ yes I agree... Hmm yeh I know I noticed the tempo thing too, I believe you're right, the song is still in its rough stages, there's still alot I would add or correct in it, although I think I got the feel of the song how I wanted ^_^... thanks for your feedback, much appreciated *high five*

I was cheering when the lead-style guitar kicked in around 0.30... awesome!
Good riffs... good pace and beat. I felt like most of the song was just an intro, though.... at around 0.50 when the bass kicks in, that (to me) is when the song really begins... but then it abruptly ends! This song should've gone for at least one minute longer... working with that bass riff and adding some variations on that riff. This song just left me wanting more!
If you have a moment, check out my latest post... I recorded my band doing a ZZ Top cover, Tush.

however you've recorded that guitar... it has come through really well. This 10 is for the nice rhythm and that crisp, clear sound.
Check out my latest post if you have time. My band recorded a cover of ZZ Top's "Tush"... it came out pretty well :)
