fuck i am in awe of those screeeeams...

i will make sure to listen to some more of your gear, shit hot!!!!

i was going to say that i thought the vox levels were a tad too high and slightly overpowered the guitars etc, but fuck it, they were awesome. Plus... that sort of shit is highly subjective... i'm learning, more than ever, that different speakers, headphones, and stereo setups, can totally change the impression of volume on that centre channel (vox channel).

your vox rip the shit out of my brain... good work! and a great track to work with.

great work man. If you get a chance, check out any of my metal collabs... i think you'll be pleased in an evil way D=<

ElfofChaos responds:

hahaha, very glad you enjoyed this one man, I had alot of fun screaming my butt off for this one

and I'll give your stuff a listen for sure! \m/

i like the rhythm and the grit of it..

but you really need to s-p-r-e-a-d out those instruments...

besides the synth, pretty much everything was centred throughout... play the same rhythm guitar twice over and pan one hard left and one hard right (or, at least, 50-50)... drums can go wider too... that way, if someone puts vox on this, they've got space for them.

besides that, this was pretty fuckin shit hot :D

3piecejimmy responds:

i appreciate the input man. and i like the idea, it makes sense. i just never put a lot of effort into mixing and what not. lol but glad u like it and the input helps a lot.

you did it justice...

it is a mega track... it took some balls even to think of adding vox, but you made a good job of it.

I was going to say something about "a few more spots the vox would've fit" but then read a review below... and your answer is highly appropriate. The lead guitars really own this track and the vox are only there to back it up, every (very rarely) now and then.

good shit man!

TwilightNecrosis responds:

Yeah, CD definitely knows how to wank on that VST of his. I didn't want to get in the way of that shit.
The vocals are just there to fill in the empty spaces where the wanking subsides, haha.
Thanks for the review, man. This never got the attention that I think it deserves, it being CD's and all.
Metal! \m/

lol... holy fuck that was evil

loved the lyrics man... satan comes for thee with outstretched arms!

that's gotta be done with a pitch-shifter, doesn't it?

sounded evil and rad. good job :D

TwilightNecrosis responds:

Nope, that was my straight voice. No pitch-shifting at all.
I did have to crank up the gain on my mic quite a bit, though; can't pump out those lows with very much volume.
It was also all exhales, if you wanna know the truth. =D
Thanks for the review, man; I dig your shit.
Metal! \m/

if this is just a test...

then what the fuck is the real deal gonna sound like?

evil! that's what!

well, more evil, i guess... god, the tone is so dirty... your string must surely be flapping in the wind. If you decide to go any lower you're gonna hafta put bass strings on your guitar.

dug it man... i'm gettin' really psyched about the direction your music is going in...

PenguinBomb responds:

Haha thanks man, yeah for some reason the past several songs I've written have been getting progressively more aggressive and such. And yeah, guitar tuned down to Ab haha, the lowest string was a .062, it was indeed flopping around. And actually I have a cheap guitar that I mess around with that I actually put bass strings on once, I tuned it like an octave lower and it was so muddy and disgusting but it was brutal and intense!

oh fuck yessss....

i do realise that maths and music are inter-related but you, as with bands like dillinger and meshuggah, really just fuck that relationship into the 9th dimension (somewhere in those squiggly planes, anyhow)

fuck man... hard to review this one... i'm worried, because, like Arctic, this demands a spaz-psycho vox ripping through it. And, like Arctic... it will take fuckin' ages to nail each separate section! might be worth a crack though...

kept me goin' from start to finish... really interetsing and fat and mad D=<

PenguinBomb responds:

Haha I wish you absurd amounts of luck, this song has some super beastly freaky patterns in it :p

good job!

it's a bit more mellow than arctic combustion but, fuck man, very tight! i'm constantly amazed at how you make an unmelodic riff sound highly melodic through repetition and subtle changes.

i would've liked the drums a bit fatter... but i'm a drummer and i wish i was fatter too, so forget i said anything!

PenguinBomb responds:

You're a drummer?!! What what what?!!! Learn guitar and you could be a one man band :D But yaeh, definitely more mellow, and I can agree, I'm still questing for a decent drum tone from my sampler :p

the choir of the devil sings for thee...

wow... don't really know how to follow up a review like the one below me!!!

you fucking slay it man... from start to finish. If I was going to do justice to this I'd need to develop that "Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth) bitch scream" but I might have a crack anyhow... :D

Great riffs and mixing... great change-ups... everything's great!

satan be thy name!

your songs just get better and better man... i'm blown away by this... it is almost too good for NG!

deathkllr84 responds:

hahaha! thanks a lot dude. I would post my music somewhere else besides here and myspace/do something with it, but I don't know what to do with all of it really. \m/ keep it metal, and stay in touch dude

by the unholy bloods of the antichrist

this was a fucking mean performance, Reich, mean!!!

\m/

Eternalreich responds:

Brutal!

Music is the new religion. Amen.
