bass?

did you chuck a bass track on this? (couldn't hear it but i'm currently limited to shitty computer speakers... even though it's a song up the fret board it would still benefit from bass.

despite that question/criticism this was frikkin' awesome, fast and mad.

look forward to the polished versions! who's doing vox on them?

check out my latest metal track if you get the chance. If you want, I could add vox to a track for you, at some stage.

Demon-Slayer12 responds:

yeah theres bass, but the treble was a bit high, I tried to make it sound bigger, but might have went a little overboard.. I had a singer lined up, but we got no lyrics, and its hard to get vocals recorded without bothering anyone. I'll pm ya when I finish the lyrics man, maybe you can give it a shot.
Glad you dig the tune man, cheers!

fuckin' great job

really does miss the vox though eh?

tone is actually pretty good... metallica weren't much fatter in their tone at this stage of their career. Good luck in the comp.

Demon-Slayer12 responds:

Vocals are coming soon..once I get my bass playing friend to record his own bass track that he wrote for this song, seeing how you couldn't hear any bass on the album anyway lol
Glad you dig it dude, thanks!

fat

love the subtle shifts of 4/4 to 3/4 in the drum fills and the drums are good... guitars are sick... the song itself never gets old so many change ups in tempo & mood

haha awesome breakdown at 2.00 didn't see that coming!

great track man... probly my fave yet from you guys

BloodGauntlet responds:

thanks heaps man = ) its my favourite too XD

cool sound

yeah, as said below... it's a great intro just left me wanting more MORE

yeah you guys are mad bastards

and from oz eh? go the aussies (kickin' arse in the cricket!) are you guys getting many gigs etc? and where are you recording?

hey post some more it's good shit and don't stress about the scores - there's a vendetta against this kind of metal on NG!!! reviews are all that count :D

hey if you get a chance check my latest metal track I have a crack at metal vox when I find a song that suits me.

BloodGauntlet responds:

haha wellll im not one of those flat out 'aussie aussie uhh bloke' guys...infact i cant stand them. well were going to be recording nexxxt month at T&M in ballarat. we'll be giging in april, my friend offered us some openings for them = D. oh and thanks HEAPS for the 10!!

haha totally crusty

but it gives us the idea

mad song pity you guys broke up.... drugs are bad mmmkay?

hey check out my latest metal track if you get a chance

BloodGauntlet responds:

hehehe yeahhh, drugs suck balls man. hahaha thanks for the 8 = P better than a 7 ;). ill definatly will check out your stuff very soon and get back to you on it.

great mix great riffs and well composed

do you guys have a vocalist?

this was very well played and the mix between hard and soft was cool

BloodGauntlet responds:

thanks heaps = ) yeah youll hear docky in Serpents. im glad you enjoied us = D

mad riffage

i'll give it an 8 for now because there's issues with the mix but jeez the guitars are pretty sweet i'm impressed.

guitar tone was pretty fat you should be happy with it.

yeeeearrrr speed metal

had shades of early metallica i can't come up with a greater compliment than that... it's an awesome composition.

damn netty you really need to source some software that gives those guitars a more realistic tone... in terms of your composition your a giant but that slayer sound drags you down amongst the herd everytime.

have you looked into what's needed $$$ to go to the next level in terms of software or hardware? is there even a next level?

netty-swobb responds:

Haha thanks man, can't take the compliment about the compesition though, I forgot to mention in the comments that it's a megadeth cover. And I really don't know what I can do about the tone, this is just a rough mix, it will be better in the final version, but I don't know, any suggestions?

wow

i've heard & read about it and it's meant to be pretty hard to learn.

haha, no offense, it kind of sounds like you're squeezing one out - it obviously takes a bit of grunt to get this tone

you really get in the zone around 0.13 eh?

Music is the new religion. Amen.
