great intro... really creepy and evil... the build up with the drums was pretty damned epic.
lyrics were frikkin' twisted man... loved it! Great lines to finish on :D

you incorportated the choir effects (etc) really well... like the guy below me said, this has the potential to be a killer intro track... where track two would contain shredding, blast beats, and insane tortured vocals.

only criticism is that it got a little repetitive... to cap it off, this really needed some kind of lead/solo work (or some kind of change-up) half to two thirds of the way through ... or, especially if it was used as an intro track, it could've just been shorter... without losing any of its awesomeness.

Hey, despite what Deathcalypse & Schlief said in regards to the power of your voice(which i basically agree with) i actually reckon you've got a good thing going on. You're mixing and getting the most out of your vox for where they are at this stage. The reverb over your vox is a good touch and reminds me a lot of a local aussie band, Armoured Angel (doesn't matter, you won't know 'em... they're obscure).

both schlief and dk84 have left some very good feedback... dunno if i need to add much.

yeah, the mic thing... i use a "large diaphragm condenser mic" they're really sensitive... i mean, i stand about an arm's length from the mic and am still sometimes too close. Using one of those really gets the true sound of your voice into the mix... look into it, they're not cheap and you generally need "phantom power" to run them.

like schlief said... there's glimpses of your "real" metal voice coming through... but often falls away to a sort of whisper. It will come in time... practise and a bit of pain. It's all good!

Awesome track to pick, to add vox to... shadrock is a mean mo-fo and makes killer tracks.

Your vox are still developing but this was a good start. Just wanting to make bad-ass metal is enough for me. The main thing with the metal voice is to practise it whenever you can... i used to live on a farm and would just walk around doing it coz no-one was listening. It's the hardest thing, to find a good place to practise it every day.
